Things You Should Know
- When you turn on Automatic Login, your Mac will instantly sign in to your account at startup without requiring a password.
- You’ll need to turn off File Vault before you can set up Automatic Login.
- Your Automatic Login settings are in the Users & Groups section of System Preferences.

How Do I Log Into a Different Apple ID on My Mac?
To log into a different Apple ID on your Mac, follow the instructions above to remove an existing account and log into a second account.

Click the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen.

Click System Preferences.

Click Sign In.

Enter your Apple ID email address and click Next.

Enter your password and click Next.

Enter your Mac's password and click OK.
You may also need to enter your iPhone's passcode.

Click Allow to switch Find My Mac on.

You are now logged in.
Log out of current user account with Keyboard Shortcut
Command + Shift + Q: Press this key combination to log out of the current user account. Log out will happen after confirmation.
Command + Shift + Option + Q: When you add Option key to the mix, you will not be asked to confirm and log out will occur right away.
